Taki's First Player Costume |
|
Click above to see the image full size! Taki is the cover girl for DeathCom Multimedia and the enhanced version of her trademark costume may be the most challenging design yet. So, for all you future costumers out there, I wanted to give you every bit of information I could to help you do outstanding work (hence the mega image collage). Click the image above to have it full screen. Heather McCollum created the Taki costume that appears on this site. The armor was created using simple foam covered with material. This technique served to be comfortable, flexible, and looked very good. However, Due to the hard edge nature of the shoulder and forearm armor, the foam armor technique may be too soft to look just right. Another point of complexity is the purple design featured on both thighs. Dye it on, paint it on, sew it in, Im no costume designer, but this could prove most troublesome. Details of note: The hair piece, its a three jewel design. The ninja swords are straight blades, not curved. The bodysuit is more glossy in the real game than it looks in the still shots (not vinyl glossy, pretty much exactly like Heather's Taki design glossy. The top row center shot is a good example). Good luck! Hopefully one of you will want to be the next front page costumer on this site! Return to Costume Screen Shots
