Con staff
(Our experiences with the convention staff overall, including event coordinators, press heads, and of course security.)
As usual we had to sit and wait for hours with our giant pile of equipment when we got there because no one had any idea where we were suppose to set up. We had to go hunt down one person after another. The staff handling Press regitration though was extremely helpful and prepared. The rest of the general con staff seemed a little disorganized the entire weekend. Also, although we didn't have to endure the pain, we heard enough about the general con registration nightmare that it affected our score.
Average Score: 56%

Hotel & Hotel staff
(The quality of the hotel, ease of check-in, and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.)
Compared to last year, I almost thought we were in a different hotel. The hotel staff was extremely well-prepared and friendly all weekend.
Average Score: 94%

Gameroom
(The size of the room, number of machines/consoles, location, and overall presentation of the gameroom.)
Very disorganized and unprepared staff, not enough popular fighting games.
Average Score: 32%

Dealer's Room
(The size of the room, number of merchants, variety of merchandise, hours of operation, location, lighting, etc.)
While it's minorly annoying to have to walk half a mile through hot tubes or go outside to get to the dealer's room, the convention center really is the best place for it.
Average Score: 82%

Artist Alley
(The location and size of the alley, placement of the artists, variety of art, etc.)
Nothing new or exciting, too much yaoi art, but hey, they draw what sells.
Average Score: 65%

Masquerade Talent
(The quality of the skits themselves. The variety, innovation, fresh content, and entertainment value of the show overall.)
Amazing walkons, better than average skits overall, but still a couple that were utter fail. Nothing over-the-top epic either.
Average Score: 78%

Masquerade Technical
(Just about every aspect of the masquerade except the actual skits. The MC, technical, judging, timing, etc. Basically everything the convention staff had control over.)
Most of the event went smoothly. Impressive setup, entertaining pre-show hype-up of the audience. A couple missing entries and botched intros. The new MCs don't have the chemistry the previous guys did, but it's their first year.
Average Score: 85%

Overall
(This is our entire con experience including all of the above and everything else that goes into a con weekend combined.)
Overall we had a pretty good time. Hard to judge fairly since much of our time was spent at the photo booth, but we were able to get away a few times and see what else the con had to offer. Hall cosplay wasn't extremely impressive overall, but there were a lot of very fun groups this year.
Average Score: 78%
